A Prayer for Spiritual Freedom and Renewal

Praise and Worship
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your amazing love for us. Thank You for forgiving our sins. Thank You for the blood of Jesus, which allows us to confess our sins to You and find forgiveness. Hallelujah! Father, You are great and mighty. All the nations shall praise You. We, the people of the earth, praise You for Your unfailing love for us. Your faithfulness endures forever! We sing a new song to You. Let the whole earth sing to You and praise Your Name. Each day we will publish Your glorious deeds among the nations. We will tell everyone about the amazing things You have done. Lord, You are great and most worthy of praise.
Praying God’s Will
Gracious Father, we bless You for hearing us when we repent. As we confess our sins to You, Lord, You give us a new song to sing. Father, we thank You that we are blame-free because we belong to Christ Jesus. We rejoice that the power of the Holy Spirit frees us from the power of sin that leads to death. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being the sacrifice for us. Because of Your great work, we no longer have to follow our sinful nature, but we are free to follow the Holy Spirit! Hallel YAH! Thank You for not staying angry with us forever. Thank You for showing us Your unfailing love.
Praying the Request
Holy Spirit, please convict us when we begin to go back to old patterns, behaviors, and habits. Please remind us that we are new people in Christ Jesus; our old lives are gone, and our new lives have begun. When we do sin, help us to always be quick to repent before the Father and not try to hide or deny the sin.
Praying for Forgiveness
Righteous Lord, please forgive us for the acts of sinfulness that we commit. Forgive us when we do not do what You tell us to, or for doing those things that we know the Holy Spirit has told us not to do. Holy Spirit, remind us of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.
Praying for Protection
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Praise and Worship
Glorious Lord, You made the earth by Your power and preserve it by Your wisdom. With Your own understanding You stretched out the heavens. When You speak in the thunder, the heavens are filled with water. You are the Creator of everything that exists; the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is Your Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
